Yep, He Voted...

For the last time, we warn that (Sunday) will be bloody for the Christians and Jews and their mercenaries and whoever takes part in the (election) game of America and Allawi

-Zarqawi's faction

If one person learns in politics, they learn that the terrorist mean what they say...and the only ways to get around their violent acts of destruction are either 1) Kill them before they accomplish their violent acts or 2) Don't provoke them

In the situation of the Iraqi election, we cannot use #2 for obvious reasons. So now the U.S. troops have the job of defending terrorist tactics and helping to protect Iraqis whose mouth salivate at the thought of being able to vote for a new leader. (Two hundred years later, we'll see how voter turnout is doing.)

I have to question the soon-to-be-used practice of marking each voter's index finger with indelible blue ink to make sure they don't vote more than once. This to me is utterly foolish as I can just picture the terrorists yanking people, checking their hand, and then blowing the voter's brains out before he gets back home to appreciate what he just did for the future of Iraq. (**This may be a moot point as the terrorists probably will just fire into polling stations and not even bother to check for markings.**) Bottom line: Isn't there some other way we can make sure people don't vote twice?

Voting begins at 7 am in Iraq. It will be 11 pm in the eastern United States.
